Article on 44th rd pick Tyler Christan

Here is a very nice article on this kid that a reader submitted today. It details the level of the Rangers' interest in him with some nice bio material. Sounds like a good hard-working guy - he will pitch this summer, work and take classes. TX will treat him as a summer follow so he will be a late sign if TX offers him a contract that he likes. For Sumter JC last year, he had some stellar #s: 12-1/1.73/78/36/25/104/.136baa.

Also, in another link posted by said reader, 8th round JC pick Tullis indicates he plans to sign. He moved into Perfect Games top 250 (242) after finishing with a nice season. He projects as a 4/5 starter down the road, which is a good get for a JC pick, as most will profile as relief pitchers. His body might have a tad more projection left which might push his 88-91fb up a few ticks (he migh sit at 90 in the end) but he is a strike thrower and his change projects as plus while he can throw his breaking ball for strikes.

I will be updating the signing and bonus info on the related spreadsheets as that info becomes available. If readers come across any signing/bonus links, please leave them in a recent comments section and I will update my roster/draft info as they come in.
