about Schepper's shoulder that I think is inaccurate. It claims, rather flippantly, and without attribution, that TS had a small RC tear and mild fraying of his labrum. This is _not_ how I interpret the medical explanation that has been released so far: wear and tear on the shoulder that probably won't be a chronic problem. Let's hope that this report is not quite accurate:
"Things went bad for him late in the season when he injured his throwing shoulder, suffering a slight tear of the rotator cuff (the group of muscles and tendons that act to stabilize the shoulder) and a frayed labrum."
In fact, I just recalled reading JD saying that the staff thought it was a muscular problem rather than something more serious.
