Minor Moves

Joe Wieland has been activated and will get the early start this morning. Moscoso will likely be optioned to AA today so he may get the start instead of whoever is scheduled. Podraza and Fry flip-flopped assignments yesterday, with Podraza moved to Hickory and Fry moved to Bakersfield. This is likely a temporary move designed to compenstate for Paisano'a absence while he is on the DL.

I have no frackin' idea what has kept Neil Ramirez in extended for the last 7 weeks. I thought he would be activated today (and the week before that, and the week before that). Whatever it is it can't be good, whether he is still injured, injured again, fat and out of shape, a mental case, an addict, suffering from the yips, whatever it is, it can't be good. A top 10 prospect on the shelf for 7 weeks after only pitching 44 innings last year. He is way way far behind the development curve as he will probably only pitch no more than 100 innings this year (10 fewer than Perez is set to pitch at age 18).
