Minor Moves

Luis Mendoza has been activated from the DL and will start tonight. Omar Poveda has been reassigned to Frisco. Bryan Corey has been reassigned from extended,well, actually, he was with the team all along.

AA
Joe Torres has been activated from the DL. Kea Komeatani has been sent to extended. EDIT: KK has been released per scott lucas.

DSL1
17.9yo rookie LHP Ramon Taveras was added to the roster today.

DSL2
Rookies 18.1yo LHP Leonel Gil and 16.8yo VZ catcher Luis Cedeno were added to the roster today.

So much for any firm roster limits I guess: DSL1 now has 41 kids(!)- including 24 pitchers - while DSL2 has a total of 32.

It seems that I might be on to something regarding the Ranger's niche for signing Venezuelan catchers/catcher converts. Cedeno brings the 08-09 total to four.
