Matt Harrison threw about 30 time (sic, "pitches") on Saturday and says he feels good. He is supposed to visit a neurologist on Monday to rule out any trouble with his nerves. Harrison has been on the disabled list with inflammation around his biceps. ..

Texas will keep tabs on Sheets as a possible 2010 Free Agent sign.

JD said they promoted Smoak because they thought he was ready for a challange. And for all you Davis haters, TX isn't so short-sighted to use promotion to send a message.

Daniels says reports concerning Orlando Hernandez has been positive and that Neftali Feliz wouldn't be an option until after the All-Star break. Feliz has hit triple digits on the radar gun with his fastball.

Some disconcerting news about Jacob Brigham's start per the LSB MiGDT. He tweaked his shoulder starting the third inning, the coaches came out, he threw a few warmup pitches, and then get tagged for a double on his next pitch and was removed. He apparently is day to day. This for a guy in his first season back after TJ surgery.
